Content of training
The two-days management training will give participants an in depth insight in today’s state-of-the-art 3-piece manufacturing process from the can design all the way to the quality assurance. It will highlight today’s best practices in every step of the production of a 3-piece can, from the slitter to the seamer.The training will begin with an introduction to canmaking. It will then cover each item of a modern 3-piece can manufacturing line: slitter, body blank transfer system, welder, weld monitor, seam protection by means of lacquer or powder, curing oven, conveyor systems and can seaming (including the processes of separating, necking, flanging, beading and shaping).The emphasis of the course will be given to the increase in efficiency and cost reduction. Either by means of downgauging, waste reduction and production optimization.
